چکیده
Aims: Determining of E.coli serogroups which isolation from UTI patientsPatients and Methods: the study was conducted between September 2019 to April 2020 they wascollected 40 sample patient how are diagnosis with during this .Results: From patients individuals, strains were identified in O showed8(30%) 2 (20%), respectively, occurrence those strains. Moreover, enterohemorrhagic E. coli(O157 H7) enteroaggregative coli (O44 detected two UTI-based urinesamples only. For antibiotic resistance properties biofilm positive producers isolated UTIurine samples, multidrug revealed 60% isolates; however, only 20% biofilmnegative urine samples showed MDR characteristics. Biofilm in75% urine. sensitivity test, results demonstrated that rates toImipenem, Amikaci, gentamicin, tobramycin 90%, 100%, 65%, 40%, UTIstrains. Conclusion: The herein provides thorough data about Escherichia based biofilm,

Prevalence of virulence genes in Escherichia coli isolates of patients with UTI
Abstract Background and Objective: Urinary tract infection refers to the presence of microbial pathogens in the urinary tract and is one of the most common infections in outpatient and hospitalized patients. A wide variety of extra-intestinal infections in humans and animals are caused by the extracellular strains of Escherichia coli (EXPEC). Materials and methods: A total of 50 E. coli iso...
متن کاملComparative virulotyping and phylogenomics of Escherichia coli isolates from urine samples of men and women suffering urinary tract infections
Objective(s): Escherichia coli strains are common pathogens that can cause urinary tract infections (UTI). This study aimed to assess E. coli phylogroups and virulence types in male and female UTI patients.Materials and Methods: In the present study, 160 uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) isolates (from both sexes) were assigned to phylogroups/types and some extraintestinal virulence factors were det...
متن کاملMolecular typing of fluoroquinolone resistant Escherichia coli isolates from patients undergoing prostate biopsy
Background: Escherichia coli (E. coli) is one of the most important infectious agents in patients undergoing prostate biopsy. It belongs to a large family of gram-negative rods, Enterobacteriaceae. This family includes members of the normal flora of the intestine that are only occasionally pathogenic. Recent considerations of rectal colonization with fluoroquinolone-resistant E. coli shows the ...
متن کاملDetection & characterization of necrotoxin producing Escherichia coli (NTEC) from patients with urinary tract infection (UTI)
BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES Urinary tract infections (UTI) are a serious health problem affecting millions of people each year. Although appreciable work on various aspects of UTI including aetiology per se has been done, information on the emerging pathogens like necrotoxigenic Escherichia coli (NTEC) is largely lacking in India. In the present study E. coli isolates from patients with urinary tra...
متن کاملDistribution of Genes Encoding Iron Uptake Systems among the Escherichia coli Isolates from Diarrheal Patients of Iran
Introduction: Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli (DEC) including enteropathogenic (EPEC), enteroaggregative (EAEC), enterotoxigenic (ETEC), and shiga toxin producing E. coli are among the most common agents of diarrhea. There are various classes of iron uptake receptors, but there is not much data on the presence of these iron receptors in DEC isolates. The present study aimed to evaluate the prese...
